Michael Robinson

Michael Robinson, PhD

CEO | Director

Dr. Michael Robinson is an experienced chief executive of commercial enterprises, including a number of start-ups, of publicly funded collaborative science agencies, and covering a variety of roles as a service provider.  He recently joined RingIR Pty Ltd as the CEO, driving the development of a new strategy, a focus on investment and move to production.  Prior to this he was successful in taking a new pest control technology from IP inception through early development stages, establishing a spin-off with a US subsidiary, to a partnership with a multi-national agrichemical business.  He has also successfully managed a science-based resource management business including a merger and acquisition, before leading Australia’s national Plant Biosecurity Co-operative Research Centre where he oversaw the delivery of innovation with an estimated net benefit equivalent to an 11% increase in plant biosecurity funding annually for 30 years. Charles C. Harb, PhD

CTO | Founder | Director

For nearly 30 years, Dr. Charles Harb has been a noteworthy leader in the field of advanced interferometry and quantum optics. His distinguished research career has gained him international recognition with a H-index exceeding 25. Apart from his expertise in the area of laser development and instrumentation and his academic career, he has held numerous positions in commercial organisations and has personally started and been involved several start-up companies, as well as a range of industrial corporations in California and Australia. He has held positions such as Sr. Engineering (Space Optical Interferometry Group), Director of Scientific Development, and Sr. Manufacturing Engineer.

In 2013, Dr. Harb founded RingIR to commercialize the rtCRDS technology developed in his laboratories at the University of New South Wales, Canberra, Australia, setting a new standard for taking technology out of the university research system. He is committed to bridging the gap between business and academia, in order to bring new ideas originating in research, to industry as practical products. He subsequently moved to a full-time role as President and CEO of RingIR and has grown the company to having facilities of operation in Albuquerque, NM, USA and Melbourne, VIC, Australia. Dr. Harb’s vision is to create a thriving industry for young business and technical personnel, enabling them to continue their education in a nurturing environment and one of equal opportunity. Anna’s passion and expertise for building a superlative business infrastructure was honed in Silicon Valley, CA, where she spent significant time working in business and tech start-ups.

With over 35 years of experience specializing in office management, facilities management, staffing and tender submissions. She has been responsible for the establishment of all initial phases of administrative/daily accounting procedures, oversight of all day-to-day administrative tasks, staff hire, and disaster recovery planning. The excitement and fervor of new technology along with this groundwork gives her a unique perspective to see the “big picture” and the ability to help create the path necessary to achieve the ultimate goal. Her unique insight and fearless attitude toward learning and implementing new methodologies has given her tools necessary for success in building administrative processes and functions essential for growth.
